nice frame. the scene looks a little overcooked. especially the grey/black in the water.

I told the grey/black to get out of the water! Just like my kids. . .nobody listens. ;-)

A couple edits based on your critique, Doc. Plus, I cropped it for a wide print rather than a pano.
Thought I would give an upload a shot while I was at it to see how it previews on vBulletin.

Changed the OP. . .
Greer Springs is such a neat location to visit and has some interesting history... even at one time Anheuser Busch tried to purchase Greer Spring so they could bottle the water and start a new line of spring water.
I like the new edit of the OP the most, the water has regained the whites and the surrounding trees and vegetation are very lush.

Thank you, Mark! No more editing at 2AM for me. ;-)
It would have been a shame to turn such a beautiful spring into a commercial venture.
I'm thinking a fall time tour of this entire area would be great. I like the lush look, but the fall colors in Mid/Late October would be outstanding.
Did you get a chance to check out Falling Spring Mill? Its very close to Greer Spring and well worth the time to check out.
Fall time around late October is definitely the best time to visit the springs and mills.

I read that Falling Spring Mill can be difficult to find. It was a spur of the moment drive for me and it was getting late when I left Greer. I'm going to plan a trip for October and stay in the area to take far more time!

its a neat area, i actually like the walk down as much as the spring itself. its a good piece of the world.
That's a good point, the walk down the trail is pretty fun... reminds me a lot of the trail down to Machine Falls in Tennessee.

Thank you, Bill. I think a few of us should arrange a meet up at one of these great locations sometime.
