April 6th Meeting

In the March meeting an assignment was given for all of us to photograph a certain location and then bring our photos to the April meeting. (location infomation can be obtained from Astrnmr) So get off the couch and get to shooting.

Aprils topic will be announces as soon as we decide what it's going to be.

Remember, we will still meet at MSSU on April 6, 2010 at 7 PM. Bring all your photographs you have done for the assignment so we can all take a look. We will also use this as a refresher course to see what everyone remembers from the prior meeting.

I sent an e-mail to astrnmr and Wilson that I'm out of town for the April meeting. Keep me in the loop. I am thinking of taking a camera with me on vacation ..... :-)

What, like shooting images through a telescope for a minimum of three hours without tracking errors on stars? Would that be too intimidating? LOL. Naa, the assignments are not a must, just a little swift kick in the butt to get out and enjoy the weather and to be used as a possible starting point.

I do like the idea of having a continuing project that each person can pick and do. Maybe at the end of summer we could present everyone's work and possibly see if anyone would like to put them into a book to share.
